About Us

One love of snow, two ways to be part of it — a warm island community and a registered charity.

Bermuda Snow is the home of two distinct entities — born from the same unlikely, joyful idea that paradise and powder can coexist. One is a community you can join. The other is a charity that opens the slopes to more Bermudians than ever before.

The Community

Bermuda's Snow Society BSS

A member interest group, formed in September 2023 — an on-island ski community promoting winter sports.

  • More than 100 Bermuda-based members, plus a handful of overseas members from the UK, USA and Canada.
  • We welcome all levels — approximately 50% of our members are beginner skiers or snowboarders!
  • Camaraderie, friendship and the occasional ski-bore: the slopes are just the start.

The Charity

Bermuda Ski & Snowboard Association BSSA

A registered charity whose purpose is to advance participation in winter sports for the public benefit.

  • Registered charity number 1068, registered 5th February 2026.
  • Runs the Snow Angel Bursary — a first-year focus on beginners, introducing Bermudians to winter sports who would otherwise not have the opportunity.
