A snow society on an island with no snow needs somewhere warm to gather between trips — and over the past two years that’s meant a busy calendar of socials, club meets and charity nights right here in Bermuda. This is the photo story so far, from the very first committee day onward.

How it started
The Bermuda Snow Society was founded on September 1st, 2023. Our first committee planning day took place a few weeks later on October 14th, 2023, out on our Bermudaful island waters — sunscreen instead of snow, but the same big plans for the seasons ahead.
Initial Club Meet
Thursday December 7th, 2023 @ MilanMilan
Around 20 new members met for the very first time to kick off Bermuda’s debut snow social! It was a lively affair at MilanMilan. Andre wiped out on the virtual slopes, knocking over a table — and luckily Eggy the Eagle didn’t fly quite as high as ski legend Eddie the Eagle, as we forgot to boil poor Eggy before sending him flying down the handmade flour mountain. Special thanks to Donna, Savannah and the rest of the team at MilanMilan for hosting our club.
Club Meet & Charity Fundraiser
Thursday June 20th, 2024
The Bermuda Snow Society raised $2,000 for local charity Friends of Hospice in honour of what would have been the 30th birthday of the President’s late brother. Harrison was a snow enthusiast, a ski racer for the Royal Marines, and the inspiration for starting the Bermuda Snow club. The Royal Gazette covered the story.
