Now, you may be thinking… Bermuda? Snow? Is that even possible?! Well, set sail for the Society of Snow and we'll show you that paradise and snow can coexist in perfect harmony.

Are you yearning for a taste of the chilly slopes and looking to be part of something truly unique? Then look no further! As a member of the Bermuda Snow Society, you'll be part of a vibrant community of complete newbies through to skiing and boarding enthusiasts (and of course ski-bores). Together we share a home or affiliates in Bermuda and a craving for snow! Our club fosters a sense of camaraderie and friendship that extends well beyond the slopes — we hope you'll forge lifelong connections with fellow members.

Whether you're a seasoned pro or a bambi just finding your snow legs, our club welcomes all levels. We believe skiing and boarding aren't just sports — they're a way of life. Bermuda Snow is completely free to join, and we welcome all, even those who simply chase the Alpine lifestyle: wholesome food and great company, and less so the skiing!

Bermuda's Snow Society

• We're a social club, where members share a common interest in Alpine snow sports and/or lifestyle.
• We're a membership-based club that's free to join. We're inclusive — we welcome all!
• We aim to make group trips more attainable, particularly for members who may not readily have a group to ski with, or who are new to Alpine sports and don't know how or where to start planning a trip.

Immediate aspirations

• Connect like-minded people affiliated with Bermuda, through a love or intrigue of snow sports.
• Plan a small number of Bermuda-based social events each year.
• Encourage trial and continuation in the exploration of snow sports and Alpine adventures.

How it works

A few details to help everyone understand how Bermuda Snow operates:

• Club socials: intended to help members connect and socialise. Attendance is encouraged but never obliged. As a not-for-profit, members self-fund attendance to socials.
• Club trips: the Society doesn't formally organise trips. Trips may be arranged ad-hoc by members; when two or more members attend a snow trip together it may be labelled a "Club Trip" and promoted so others can connect. Bermuda Snow Society is not a travel agent and takes no responsibility for bookings, payments, travel, accommodation, lessons or hire.
• Lessons & childcare: we don't offer ski/snowboard lessons or childcare, but we encourage members to arrange these together — all the better for our community spirit!

Longer-term dreams

• Advance on-island Alpine sporting facilities, to make snow sports more accessible to all in Bermuda.
• Make Alpine snow sports more accessible from Bermuda — with enough interest, perhaps even chartering a plane direct to a resort!
• Inter-club competitive Alpine events.
• And let's dream big: more Bermudians and residents at the Winter Olympics.
