The volunteers keeping Bermuda Snow gliding — from podium-chasing racers to self-taught boarders, all bound by a love of snow.
From a President chasing podiums at the legendary Inferno to a self-taught snowboarder who learned on a five-run hill in Sudbury, our committee is a band of volunteers bound by one gloriously unlikely thing: a deep love of snow, run from a sunny island in the middle of the Atlantic. ❄️ Say hello to the people behind Bermuda Snow.

A little more about the team — in their own voices.

I love all snow sports but my true passion lies in anything skiing; downhill, mono, (even water skiing...), my next challenge was set my brother; to learn Randonee! I've been fortunate enough to learn to ski from the age of 7, and hold special memories of family time in the French Alps. I have been beyond excited to have the opportunity to introduce my son to the slopes and glad that, so far, he seems to love the sport as much as I do!
Whilst working in the London Insurance Market, I joined the Lloyd's Ski Club where I had my debut (amateur) racing experience for the Lloyd's Ladies team at the City Ski Championships & Financial Times Alpine Forum in Courmayeur. I was awarded the Lloyd's of London Insurance Cup for most improved skiier 2020...having won the Isokinetic Best Wipe Out Award the previous year! I raced the 80th and 82nd International Inferno (2024 and 2026) downhill ski race in Mürren for the Kandahar Ski Club. Following such exhilaration, I signed up for my first AICC (Amateur Inter-Club Championships) with the Ladies Ski Club in Davos and Klosters, in 2025. Fair to say, I am now totally addicted, and was stoked to make my first podium finish (bronze) while racing the night giant slalom race for the LSC at the 2026 AICC in Lech. I am already counting the days to next year's AICC event in Livigno, the AICC may possibly be my favourite week of each calendar year!
I am so grateful for the lifelong friendships I have made through shared passion and adventures through both the Bermuda Snow Society and the other ski clubs I have joined along the way.
I am buzzing to share my enthusiam for the sport through Bermuda, and hope to give back to this beautiful island I now call home, through the establishment of the BSSA charity and our Snow Angel Bursary.

The only time I want to be in the snow is when I am skiing, tubing, or snowmobiling. I was thirteen when I first began to ski, and I have loved it all my life. Being from Chicago and going to university in Michigan, I would always ski at the (not too far) ski hills that were available. Once a year, travel to the East to experience a real mountain. As a young adult I would get all my friends into skiing. I would take the youth group from my church skiing and often I was the one giving ski lessons. Some of my fondest memories as a young adult was traveling to places like Whistler, Deer Valley, and Vale with a group of young adults. We would rent a villa or a house and party the whole weekend.
Then I grew up got married, had children and now it's time to get them on the slopes. I would love to see more families in Bermuda experience the winter landscapes that Bermuda Snow Society will provide.

I first stepped into a pair of skis at 18, when my twin sister and I thought it would be fun to run a ski chalet in Verbier, Switzerland for a big tour operator. It started out as an adventure, maybe a one-off season. Instead, it completely rewired my life. From that moment on, everything revolved around snow - where it was falling, where it was melting, and where I needed to be next.
One season turned into eight. I chased winters across the world: Serre Chevalier and Val d' Isère in France, Jindabyne in Australia, Vail in Colorado, and then three unforgettable seasons in Breckenridge. During my last winter there, I joined a local race team and found myself competing against pre-Olympians. I've always loved speed whether it's on motorbikes, horses or skis so Super-G became my preference. The sense of freedom whilst carving down a mountain at speed is unbeatable.
Eventually, life pulled me back to the UK to start a family. But skiing never really left. I trained as a dry-slope instructor, introduced my kids to the sport, and whisked them off to Andorra, Austria, and Switzerland. Meanwhile, my sister had settled in Canada as a ski instructor, so I spent many years hopping over to Sun Peaks, British Columbia to visit her and get my fix of Canadian powder.
I've returned to the Portes du Soleil a number of times for the extensive terrain and this March I took my youngest to Avoriaz - a full-circle moment in its own way.
At the start of 2025, I moved to Bermuda, which is about as far from a ski town as you can get. But the itch is still there. If anything, it's stronger. I was so excited to find that there was a ski club on the island! I'm really eager to ski South America, a part of the world I'm yet to visit...
Snowboard Captain
What started as a rental board on a five-run hill in Sudbury turned into a lifelong obsession.
I'm a self-taught snowboarder who first strapped in at 17 on Adanac Ski Hill (yes - Canada spelled backwards). By my second time on snow, I'd already bought my own board, boots, and bindings. I knew I was hooked.
Driven by a competitive mindset - and a desire to keep up with my lifelong-riding Canadian roommates - I studied YouTube edits, chased progression, and put in the reps. Before long, I wasn't just keeping up… I was charging alongside them.
Since those early days, I've ridden nearly every public hill and mountain across Ontario and Quebec, carving my way through everything from icy groomers to deep glades. Now based in Ontario, about an hour from Blue Mountain Resort, I ride there regularly and make it an annual tradition to head to Quebec with the same crew of eight college buddies who were there from the start!
These days, experience has replaced ego - fewer park laps, more clean lines. I still love pushing myself, but nothing compares to the feeling of dropping into fresh powder on an empty run or weaving through tight glades with nothing but the sound of snow under your edge.
Snowboarding isn't just something I do: it's how I reset, reconnect, and feel fully alive.
Ski Patrol
I have been living and working in Telluride Colorado since 2007. I attended Colorado College, where my love for skiing started and grew quickly. In the winter of 07/08, I skied over 100 days, and I have never looked back. I started my career as a ski patroller in 2011 and can say with confidence that I have the best job in the world. No two days are the same. Studying snow and weather conditions, taking part in avalanche mitigation, and helping people are among my favorite parts of the job.
In 2023/24 I spent the winter season working as a ski patroller (security de piste) in Tignes France. Working and living in the Alps secured my dream of being an international ski patroller and I fell in love with the Alps and French culture. I will never recover from the food and the wine. If anyone has any interest in setting off with a baguette, a wedge of Comte and a bottle of burgundy I'm your girl. I made life long friends and will visit France as much as possible for the rest of my life.
In December 2025 I received my Bermuda status and was able to follow my dream of spending winters in Telluride and Summers in Bermuda. The Bermuda Snow Club is the perfect opportunity to combine my love of the mountains and skiing with my favorite island on earth. So happy to be meeting like minded souls and share our love of all things snow on this special island in the middle of the Atlantic. Thank you for having me.
Race Captain
I learned to ski as a toddler in the Swiss Alps, returning every year to Wengen.
Ski racing was always a love of mine (from the sidelines), but I only stepped into competition as an amateur in 2024, beginning with a training camp in Hintertux. In 2025 I raced for the Ladies Ski Club at the AICC with Grace.
In 2026 I represented the Bermuda Snow Society at the Inferno Combination and will return in 2027.
Training is year-round on the dry slopes in Torquay and Plymouth, alongside now taking up roller and cross-country skiing.
I love skiing, love ski racing, and when I am not on snow or matting, I am usually talking about both!
With huge thanks to the volunteers who helped build Bermuda Snow. Keen to get involved? Email the club inbox — we'd love to hear from you.
Après Social Secretary (2023–2025)
I'm thrilled to be a part of this ski club's committee, where I'll be organising our fantastic social events! While I may be a relative newcomer to skiing, having only ventured onto the slopes twice, skiing has quickly become a passion of mine, and I'm determined to improve my skills one run at a time. However, what truly excites me are the incredible social events we have in store for you!
Whether it's a cozy fireside gathering, a lively après-ski soirée, or an unforgettable weekend getaway, our events are not just social; they're where lasting memories are made, where friendships are kindled, and where the spirit of adventure thrives. I can assure you that you won't want to miss a single one! I can't wait to meet each one of you at our upcoming events. Get ready for a season filled with unforgettable moments on and off the slopes. Believe me; you won't want to miss the excitement that awaits us!
Ski Captain / Snowboard Captain (2023–2025)
I grew up with parents who loved to ski and so they passed down the joy of skiing to me and my sister, taking us on ski holidays to the Alps every year, where I started skiing around 4 years old. I had my ups and downs in French ski school, but by my teen years I was well and truly sold on this sport! After graduating from university, I took a gap year in Austria and trained to be a Ski Instructor on the Kitzteinhorn glacier– passing my Austrian "Anwärter" exam and then teaching kids group classes for 5 months for Ski Schule Arlberg (St Anton). Although this was just a gap year for me, skiing is still one of my favourite hobbies.
Most recently, after moving to Bermuda, I have been making the most of skiing in Canada - in the last two years I have skied Whistler, Banff, Lake Louise, Kicking Horse and Revelstoke. It's been a pleasure to try skiing outside of the Alps. My dream would be to go Heli Skiing – which I'm hoping is something I can make a reality over the next few years (give me a shout if this is something that interests you too!)
Snowboard Captain
I'm a self-taught snowboarder, born and raised on this beautiful island. I'm bringing experience of the Canadian slopes to our club, having surfed Mount Tremblant, Quebec, and Blue Mountain, Ontario. What gets me stoked? Helping others catch the snowboarding bug. It's all about the joy of gliding down the slopes, island-style. If you're looking for a relaxed, no-pressure way to dive into snowboarding and explore this unique experience, I'm your guy. Let's enjoy the ride together!
